From the ingredients in the kitchen and products used in the spa to the uniforms worn by our staff, we strive to support Peru’s farms and artisans.
Decorator Janna Rapaport has sourced almost all our furnishings locally, including the skillfully carved wooden furniture, Pima cotton fabrics and exquisite embroidery. She has also worked with a community of weavers in the village of Chinchero just outside Cuzco to produce our textiles and rugs.
Artist Tater Camilo Vera works with eight families from the local village of Racchi to produce hand-made tableware and the vases given to guests as keepsakes.
The exclusive Apu Kuntur Tawa line sources ingredients from small independent local farmers to create their therapeutic aromatic bath products.
The Aïny line not only produces certified organic products using local formulas from Peru and Ecuador, but also donates 4% of its proceeds to fund indigenous community projects.
Our cheeses, organic products and flowers are sourced from La Salle Farm in nearby Urubamba.
Designer Fatima Arrieta has been inspired by local textiles and works with Carlos Llancari, an embroiderer from Ayacucho.
